Golden Globes 2019: Black Panther, Bohemian Rhapsody and Vice lead the nominations
awards season is officially off to the races with today’s Golden Globe Awards nominations. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) announced late last night that Killing Eve actress Sandra Oh and Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor-comedian Andy Samberg would be hosting the awards ceremony, which are often seen as a predictor of the Oscars (although the Globes hand out awards for both film and TV). The pair had presented the Emmy for Best Direction of a Comedy Series in September, and had a crackling comedic spark. Last year's nominees included the films The Post, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and The Shape of Water, as well as the TV shows Game of Thones, The Handmaid's Tale, Big Little Lies, and The Crown.
